What it's used for
Magic mouthwash is a medicated mouthwash mixture. It’s made of different medications used to relieve pain from mouth and throat sores.
What to tell your dentist
Before taking magic mouthwash, tell your dentist all of your current health conditions, prescribed medications, over-the-counter medications, and natural remedies you may take. Also, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, inform your dentist.
How to use
Take magic mouthwash exactly as prescribed and finish the full course of treatment (even if you start feeling better). When using, swish and spit after 30 seconds. Do not swallow unless otherwise directed.
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose. Use your next dose at the regular time. Do not double the dose to catch up.
It is also recommended to replace of your toothbrush or other oral hygiene devices before starting to use magic mouthwash.
Side effects
Magic mouthwash can sometimes cause dry mouth or nausea.
Storage
Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medications away from children and pets.
