What is HybenX?
HybenX is a professionally applied decontamination gel that helps treat inflammation and infection in your gums and oral tissues. It is an antibiotic-free solution that works on contact to instantly eliminate harmful bacteria, biofilm (plaque), and necrotic (damaged) tissue, allowing the natural healing process to begin immediately.
How Does HybenX Work?
HybenX uses a unique process called Desiccation Shock Technology (DST).
Application: Your dentist or hygienist applies the gel to the affected area (like a periodontal pocket) for 10-30 seconds.
Dehydration: The gel has an electrostatic charge that instantly attracts and removes water from bacteria and biofilm.
Removal: This action (desiccation) essentially dries out the harmful pathogens, rendering them harmless and making them easy to rinse away.
This single-step treatment helps get an infected site to a healing state. It is non-systemic, meaning it only works where it is placed and is not absorbed by your body like an antibiotic.
